Global Warming
The latest climate change study published before the UN talks in New York said that global warming signs and effects have accelerated.
Scientists report that human history is increasingly becoming a race between education and natural disasters. This warning gives the message that this disaster can be prevented with education and information. This message was expressed in his saying, “Deepening of ecological knowledge and thinking is one of the most important conditions for protecting nature”. This message and the aphorism that has clarified this are considered as guiding basic principles and ideas, and it is useful to give basic information about this process and its consequences which are full of potential dangers for the future of living and inanimate beings. In this study conducted for this purpose, the following topics are discussed.
• Are there any differences between the global warming and climate change process of our time and the climate change in geological eras that took place millions of years ago and covering very long periods of time? If so, what are these differences?
• What do we know about greenhouse gases, which have been cited as the main cause of global warming and climate change for 30 years?
• Is there evidence of global warming and climate change in our time? If so what?
• What are the ecological, economic and social consequences of this process?
• Are there any measures to be taken to combat these disasters? • How can this process be assessed ecologically?
